Beals Healthy Streams Fellow
The Nature Conservancy - Topeka, KS
The Beals Healthy Streams Fellow is a 35 hour a week position with an hourly wage of $12.80. This position will work out of the Kansas Chapter office in Topeka, Kansas. Travel around the state to work at various project areas may be expected.  This is a short-term, 10 week long position, beginning June through August 2016. The selected Fellow will also have an opportunity to apply for the Lance Hedges Conservation Scholarship. Essential functions in the position include assisting with literature reviews and research related to watershed and freshwater conservation efforts, assisting in developing maps through the use of GIS, field work in documenting stream resources on TNC preserves in Kansas, and other duties as assigned.
